The much-anticipated 2024 edition of the awards is gearing up to captivate audiences once again, returning to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, for an impressive third consecutive year, with festivities set to commence on September 27.
The Rajasthan Tourism Department has entered into a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) to host the highly anticipated silver jubilee edition of the IIFA Awards in the state capital next year.
A momentous agreement signing ceremony took place at the historic Albert Hall, graced by the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. Representing the Tourism Department, Commissioner VP Singh formalized the collaboration alongside Suresh Iyer, Vice President of STJ Global Entertainment and Media, who signed on behalf of the academy.

The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted that when film stars and directors explore the captivating locations and rich historical landmarks of Rajasthan, it will pave the way for an increase in film shoots. This, in turn, will create new avenues for employment and foster investment opportunities, benefiting the region’s economy.
The 2025 ceremony will introduce the highly anticipated IIFA Digital Awards, a new initiative designed to celebrate outstanding performances in the ever-evolving world of digital entertainment, including films and OTT content.
