Sheikh Hamdan, the Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, has long been recognized for his appreciation of authentic cuisine from local eateries in Dubai. His culinary curiosity reached new heights during his recent visit to India, where he embarked on a momentous two-day journey this Tuesday. As part of this historic trip, Sheikh Hamdan made it a point to dine at Pali Bhavan, a renowned establishment, continuing his tradition of savoring distinctive and local flavors from around the world.

During his official trip to India, Sheikh Hamdan had the pleasure of dining at one of Mumbai’s most exclusive fine-dining establishments, nestled in the vibrant Bandra West. Renowned for its exquisite menu, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance, the restaurant became the backdrop for an unforgettable moment. Through his Instagram story, Sheikh Hamdan gave followers a glimpse of his surprise visit, sharing captivating photos and videos. Among the highlights was a shot of the passageway leading to the private dining area on the upper floor, likely the very spot where he enjoyed his meal. The passageway, adorned with a colorful display of traditional ‘dabbas’ (tiffin boxes), echoed the essence of Mumbai’s culinary culture, making the experience even more memorable.
On Wednesday, Mishali Sanghani, the proud owner of the restaurant and a long-time resident of Dubai, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for a gracious gesture by Sheikh Hamdan. Overflowing with excitement, she described the experience as nothing short of extraordinary—a truly memorable and treasured moment. Speaking to Gulf News, Sanghani shared her deep appreciation, calling it a remarkable highlight in her journey.
