In a significant step towards fostering and advancing the diverse world of arts, the UAE has unveiled the creation of the “National Orchestra of the United Arab Emirates.” Announced on Friday, this remarkable initiative comes under the esteemed patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
“Our mission, through the National Orchestra of the UAE, is to celebrate and elevate our rich cultural heritage, showcasing it to the world while fostering a deeper understanding between diverse cultures,” expressed Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State and Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Orchestra of the UAE. “This orchestra is destined to become a beacon of inspiration, making a significant impact both within our nation and on the global stage. It is a powerful affirmation of our dedication to nurturing creativity and artistic excellence.
The orchestra is set to host a series of auditions, welcoming musicians and vocalists from diverse artistic and musical backgrounds. Open to all, these auditions encourage individuals aged 18 and above to showcase their talent, whether their style is rooted in Arabic traditions or Western influences. A key emphasis will be placed on discovering and cultivating Emirati talent, fostering the growth of local musicians within the artistic community. Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of something extraordinary!
Aspiring musicians and artists are invited to take part in the exciting opportunity to audition for the newly established UAE National Orchestra. Interested candidates can easily apply by visiting the official website at www.uaenationalorchestra.ae, where they can submit their application forms and upload a recorded sample of their musical performance.
